  • LEED Silver Certified
Overview:

A new Squadron Operations Building for the New Hampshire Air National Guard replaced outdated facilities.

The program includes office and conference space, billeting quarters for alert crews, a 200-seat auditorium, flight crew briefing space, flight support equipment warehousing space, and a secure command center. The innovative second floor layout features light filled collaborative work space with shared training and informal conference areas to encourage inter-departmental communication. The project included planning for a 20,000 sf future addition.

Sustainable strategies and technologies were used throughout to target LEED Silver certification, including innovative variable refrigerant flow and solar thermal mechanical systems that reduce energy use, operation and maintenance costs for the owner.
