We are seeking a motivated Accounting & Finance Assistant. Are you able to multi-task? Do you enjoy working independently but also working in a team environment? Oak Point Associates is a fast-paced A/E firm, with an open Accounting & Finance position.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Assist with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
- Process transactions, issue and mail checks, update project/client information and prepare reports.
- Reconciliation of records.
- Data entry.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in an accounting or finance role.
- Degree in Accounting preferred.
- Must have exceptional attention to detail, time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to use discretion in handling confidential information.
- Work collaboratively and effectively with individuals at all levels of the company.
- Ability to meet job performance measures with minimal direct supervision and guidance.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under stress.
- Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.
- Experience with BQE Core and Quickbooks is a plus.
- Must be proficient in word and excel.
