Electrical Engineer (Licensed)

Oak Point Associates is seeking an energetic and motivated Licensed Electrical Engineer to join our award-winning team. Responsibilities Include:

  • Design of power, lighting, communication and electronic security systems
  • Collaboration with other engineers, architects, interior designers and landscape architects to develop creative design solutions
  • Typical designs include one-line diagrams, conduit and wire sizing, panelboard schedules, device and fixture layouts, lighting calculations and preparation of specifications and cost estimates
  • Construction Administration including review of submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs as well as site inspections

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Electrical Engineering Technology (BSEET) degree from an accredited university, preferably with a power or building sciences component
  • 5-8 Years of experience
  • License in Maine or New Hampshire or the ability to obtain through reciprocity
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Experience with Autodesk Revit and AutoCad, Microsoft Word and Excel
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Interest in designing electrical systems for commercial, institutional, and government buildings and facilities
